Happy Belated Father's Day!

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Today's post is in gratitude to my amazing husband, Ricardo. When we first met over a decade ago, we were merely teens with a hardy appetite for the extracurricular party or two. Had someone allowed me to look into a crystal ball to see this handsome kid grow into a responsible (and still handsome) adult, I would have shaken my head in disbelief! I would have fallen even more in love with him than I already was and would have made him marry me sooner than 8 years into it! ;)

Last Father's Day, you were technically a daddy, but there wasn't much work for YOU involved at that time. ;) Now that you've changed a few diapers, cleaned up a few blowouts, risen to a crying baby for a few nights, and have picked out and accessorized the girliest of outfits, you have passed the test of great "daddydom"!!! Cardo, I am so lucky to be your wife, but even moreso, Alessandra is so lucky to have you as her dad. Thank you for being an incredible father. We love you!

So scared to hold her...

What an amateur!

Last week I took Alessandra to work with me. Besides the fact that I barely could get anything done, we had fun!

"Ali, I need that report pulled ASAP!"

"Don't interrupt me mom...I'm working here!"

"I just got the most ridiculous forward. DELETE!"

Check out the two choppers making their way into Ali Land!

Skinny dipping!!

Until next week...

Big hugs!

RAD

2 of you love me, and I you:
