A Month In Pictures...And a Teensy Bit of Verbiage

Hi and everything!!!  What?!? What's that you say???  You really don't have time to be reading my typical blog novellas because you're at work and that report's due at 3:00 and you really just came here to look at the pictures with a few helpful descriptive sentences about each?  Well okay!

First thing's first, Halloween.  But before we donned our ladybug gear and headed to the Minnesota Zoo for Trick or Treating, we carved pumpkins!  Ali wanted hers to be crying for some reason.

Here she is communicating to the foreman which creative direction she wanted to take with Mr. Pumpkin.

The crying pumpkin was so perfect it also brought tears to my eyes.  Damn, I'm awesome.

Then we bugged out to the Minnesota Zoo for some Trick or Treat action!

Ricardo dressed up like a flannel bug.  Or the guy with the fly swatter, maybe?

Alessandra newest specialty is sulking in a corner, usually when we tell her "no".  It's uber dramatic which naturally equals hilarious and is WAY better than her throwing a temper tantrum any day of the week.  She pouts at home, in stores, everywhere!  She gets this big furrowed brow, juts out her bottom lip, crosses her arms and literally marches to the nearest corner and sits there with her head hanging down and her little W leg position.  Maybe I could start doing this at home and/or the office to get what I need done?

Oh yeah, then we got our family pictures taken down at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis.  As promised, here are a few of our favorites:

 

Good news!  I made a lemon meringue pie from scratch!  Like from the actual 1950's Betty Crocker cookbook.  I know I mentioned how awesome I was earlier in this post.  But let. me. reiterate.  Seriously.

Well, that's it for now.  Thankful for a short week thanks to Thanksgiving, thank you very much.  I have a feeling I'll check in with you on Thursday or shortly thereafter to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and to tell the world what we're thankful for.
