Hi and everything!
Cue summer music, please:
Now I feel appropriate in indulging you with the latest and greatest shenanigans of the Torres family.
Firstly, before one does anything rash, one
must look fabulous while doing it. And thus, a quick stopoff to visit with our friend
Amy at Estetica Salon was in order. For those of you keeping track, this was only Alessandra's second haircut ever. The curls on the floor were so adorable that I had to stick them in an envelope for saving again. Poor Alessandra, her keepsake box will just be one giant hairball.
| Not so cooperative this time around. Mama had to hold her down and entertain with fruit flashcards on the Droid. Don't ask. |
Amy's pretty much the only person I trust with my own hair so I'm not
about to let any random cut Alessandra's hair which I like to consider a "special texture". If you have any question about Ali's potential for nappiness, please refer to any past posts with said mess out of it's hair tie. It gets very bushly and this time around even needed some extra attention on the "neck warmer" part to lower the mullet meter by a few points.

Alessandra just before we walked into the salon. Not good.

Well, now that we are rid of our mulletude, time to move onto bigger and better things. Like driving a Metro Transit bus at the Children's Museum!
| I love how she's on a mission holding a banana. It looks like she's heading to work! |
| Driver! Take me to the Mall of America please... |
So much to do at the MCM, so little time!
| "My not one day sayed" is TOO a sentence! |
| I never knew I loved spelunking until now! |
| Admiring the architecture of downtown St. Paul |
| Although not as nice as Crush from Finding Nemo, this turtle did let us pet him. |
| Painting rocks with water is oh-so-temporary! |
So, we went to the zoo. Weird! We NEVER go to the zoo!
| I do like to use my new long lens there though. Look at this guy, just your standard Meerkat, right? |
| Not anymore! He's about to gnaw my face off!! |
| These horses were probably 20 feet away! |
| Goat-brushing is always good for an excellent pasttime. |
Sunday was hot as the dickens, so we headed to the beach. Yumma sunna.
| The End |
